Green Glow Protein Smoothie

Nothing beats an easy, quick, and delicious breakfast, except one that’s healthy and full of nutrients too. This green glow protein smoothie is the perfect way to start a busy day. Your weekday breakfast never looked or tasted so good!

Ingredients

  • 1 small banana
  • 1 cup raw spinach
  • 1 cup kale, thick stems removed
  • 1 TBSP unsweetened almond butter
  • 2/3 cup coconut water
  • 1 scoop (25g) unsweetened vanilla protein powder, optional

Instructions

    Place all ingredients into a high-speed blender and process until smooth. Serve immediately.

Tips

Adding the protein powder to this green glow protein smoothie is optional but adds a boost of protein. You can use whey, any plant-based protein powder, or ShiftSetGo Vanilla Pudding & Shake Mix. You can also replace the protein powder with a few tablespoons of non-fat Greek yogurt (in that case, reduce the amount of liquid).
