Amazing Purple Power Smoothie

The surprise addition of beets to this beautiful purple power smoothie adds folate, fiber and the added benefit of natural nitric oxide which can give you an energy boost and increase blood flow, making it a perfect pre-workout snack!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1 cup frozen berries, any kind
  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 medium beetroot, peeled, cooked, grated
  • 1 packet ShiftSetGo Vanilla Pudding & Shake Mix

Instructions

    To a blender, add the almond milk, berries, banana, beet and protein powder. Process on high until smooth and creamy. Pour into a serving glass and enjoy!

Tips

To make this purple power smoothie super quick, pre-cook a bunch of beets by either boiling or roasting them in the oven. Chop or grate the beet after it has cooled, freeze in an airtight container, then pull out what you need when you’re ready to make your smoothie!
